Kerry is the Vice President/Co-owner of Dive Pros. Kerry was certified to SCUBA dive in late 1987, and his time off was eagerly spent assisting his brother, Kevin, conduct SCUBA classes. It was a joy to share the sport and the very next year, Kevin opened Gulf Coast Pro Dive Inc. (aka Dive Pros) in a small strip center and soon wanted his brothers to join in and help. Kerry was brought on board to Dive Pros full time in December 1988 and became a NAUI Instructor in early 1989. While working at Dive Pros Kerry obtained numerous recreational SCUBA certifications including PADI Instructor, Cave Diving certifications from NACD and the NSS, DAN Oxygen Instructor, PSI and SDI Visual Cylinder Inspector Trainer, Semi-closed Circuit Rebreather Trainer through TDI, and NAUI Instructor Trainer. Kerry was the Vice President of the “Friends of the Massachusetts” during the time the wreck was being nominated and eventually became the fourth “Underwater Archeologic Preserve” in the state of Florida. Kerry has received equipment repair technician training from numerous manufacturers of diving equipment and holds certificates from Scubapro, Aqualung, Sherwood, Beuchat, Oceanic, and more. Kerry has enjoyed many years teaching SCUBA and honing the skills of the countless customers who pass through doors of Dive Pros every day.
